ELA Homeworks

Students,

As we go forward in Night, let's try to keep up with assigned homework as well! The following were homeworks from last week:

  • Tuesday, October 9
    • Write a paragraph discussing the main topic of chapter 1
  • Wednesday, October 10
    • Write a paragraph giving your thoughts or feelings about Madame Schacter. Was she crazy? Did she actually see the future?
  • Thursday, October 11
    • Write a response to the following quote by Elie Wiesel: "Never shall I forget these things, even if I am condemned to live as long as God Himself. Never." (32)
      • Consider: What is he saying? What does he mean by "condemned to live as long as God Himself"?
If you think you owe any of these assignments, ask me and we'll figure out how to catch you up.

Don't forget to be reading 30 minutes each night! If you need an independent reading book, also talk to me and we'll get you set up with one.

-Mr. August
